Certain companies usually require
the existence of a Police Registration Statement or commonly abbreviated as
SKCK, as one of the documents that must be attached by job applicants.
SKCK itself, formerly referred to
as SKKB, is an acronym for: 'Certificate of Good Conduct'. The change of name
referred to, of course has experienced a series of ritual processions, such as
feasting with red porridge, inclusive witnessed by customary elders. Let me not
be good.
Indeed, matters concerning SKCK
are not only needed to apply for jobs. If you want to open a licensing
business, a letter issued by the police, must also be included. Including a
number of other matters, depending on the police, police or the police who
issued it.
Simply put, SKCK is a record of
one's history. Especially related to criminal track records. The applicant will
have his fingerprint recorded, then the record will be kept by the relevant
party, as part of the process of a person's self-record. Possibly, if later
there are residents whose fingerprints are recorded in the police data, and
that person has 'been' involved in a criminal act, then the data will be
attached to the SKCK. Although involved in the crime of the beginner class,
sort of steal a neighbor's chicken, or tempt the widow next to the house.
Philosophically, the purpose of
the issuance of SKCK is well-intentioned. For citizens who are not adventurous,
and try to live according to the rules and social institutions and habits that
are commonly adhered to, then abstain from barbaric actions called criminals,
of course they will not feel morally burdened, when they need SKCK for their
needs.
As for those who have come into
contact with the criminal black world, regardless of their motives and goals,
then they will get a row of sentences in the form of a really unpleasant
explanation in their SKCK sheets. It was as if the record was a record of past
sins, which was reappeared through information in a letter of SKCK, complete
with photos, signatures and scary notes.
As a little explanation above
about the function of SKCK, it can be concluded that the policy of the
inclusion of this document, as one form of education for the community. The
message is clear, that actions against the law, rules, or criminality, are
always monitored and recorded by the state. In this case, the matter was
delegated to the police. Therefore, do not vary.
Whereas for companies or agencies
that intend to recruit prospective employees, of course, must think again if
the included SKCK reads, that prospective workers have been involved in
criminal cases. Although there is always an opportunity for everyone to clean
up, but the disgrace that has been recorded, is considered to damage the
reputation and credibility of a company
Given the functions and
objectives of the SKCK, of course all agree that SKCK is very necessary. The
police also tried to be 'transparent' regarding the costs that must be issued
by the applicant.
A few days ago, the news that
informed the opening of the CPNS quota, made my friends busy taking care of
various documents in the hope of wearing a civilian-style brown uniform.
If gambling is not a sin, I would
bet if one of the documents that must be attached is definitely called SKCK.
Whereas for a class of civil servants. And at the initial stage, without
intending to discredit, those who were successfully accepted as civil servants,
began their careers as staff first.
However, reflecting on the
Supreme Court's decision to allow the return of former corruptors to
participate in election contestation, it is clear that this is a homework that
is not easy for the police. In fact, legislative candidates are those who will
later sit as representatives of the community's voice (who choose it). Whatever
decisions will be issued, can affect the lives of many people.
My question; Does the SKCK issued by the police
to the former corruptor also contain scary words? Like those who have been
battered caught because of chicken thieves? How come I doubt it !?
